Lars Von TRIER, dancer in the dark
Selma Jezkova, immigrée tcheque, travaille dur pour tenter de réunir l'argent pour soigner son fils menacé, comme elle, de cecité. Cet argent, subtilisé par son voisin, l'entrainera vers une fin tragique, ce qui ne l'empechera pas de survivre jusqu'au bout grace à la musique et la danse, içi à son proces. Présenté pour la première fois lors du 53e Festival de Cannes, ce film y a remporté la Palme d'or et a valu à Björk le prix d'interprétation féminine.
